Unveiling the 2024-25 Nevada Alumni Council: Champions of Wolf Pack Pride
The Nevada Alumni Association is thrilled to unveil the dynamic 2024-25 executive committee and board of the Nevada Alumni Council. This passionate volunteer advisory team serves as the driving force behind alumni engagement, acting as proud ambassadors of the University of Nevada, Reno.
2024-25 Nevada Alumni Council Executive Committee
- Mike Hix, President: Hix is regional vice president of Meadows Bank and a 1989 graduate of the University.
- Christina Stoever-Young, President-elect: Stoever-Young is the founder of Sunshine Tahoe and a 1994 graduate of the University.
- Bryan McArdle, Past President: McArdle is the revitalization manager for the City of Reno and a 2005 and 2010 MBA graduate of the University.
- Monica Powers Kales, Treasurer: Powers Kales is a mediator and trainer, former executive director of the Neighborhood Mediation Center, and a 1979 graduate of the University.
- Cher Fesenmaier, Vice President: Fesenmaier is assistant principal of Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a 1994 graduate of the University.
- Jennifer Hill, Vice President: Hill is chief development officer for Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and a 1994 graduate of the University.
- Tiffany McMacken, Vice President: McMacken is principal of The Willow Group and a 2000 graduate of the University.

Council members play a pivotal role in fostering connections, spearheading alumni engagement initiatives, volunteering at exciting association events, and championing philanthropic efforts that support the University’s mission. Together, they’re shaping the future of Wolf Pack pride and community!
Nevada Alumni Council members are eligible to serve three consecutive two-year terms. Nevada alumni who are interested in joining the Nevada Alumni Council are invited to submit a nomination.
