Annual Giving Day at University of Nevada, Reno
More than 1,900 donors contributed over $1.1 million to support scholarships, student organizations, academic programs, athletics, research, and countless opportunities that help Nevada students thrive.
The power of the Wolf Pack was on full display during this year’s Giving Day on April 9, proving once again what can happen when a community rallies around a shared purpose. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends came together in a remarkable show of generosity, creating the most successful Giving Day in University history.
What makes this achievement so inspiring is that it represents far more than a fundraising milestone. Every gift—regardless of size—reflects a belief in the future of Nevada students and the transformative power of higher education. Giving Day united the Wolf Pack around a common goal: opening doors, creating opportunities, and ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed. The collective impact of these contributions will be felt across campus for years to come, strengthening programs that foster innovation, leadership, belonging, and academic excellence.
This record-breaking result also highlights the momentum and generosity that continue to define the Wolf Pack community. Building on previous years of extraordinary support, donors answered the call in unprecedented numbers, demonstrating that the University’s greatest strength has always been its people. Together, they sent a powerful message to current and future students: you are supported, you are valued, and an entire community is invested in your success. As the University continues to reach new milestones, Giving Day stands as a celebration of what is possible when the Wolf Pack comes together with purpose, pride, and a commitment to making a lasting difference.
