Webber Lake/Lacey Meadows Art hike
Truckee Donner Land Trust

The Artists: Learn about the rich culture of the land with master basketmaker Sue Coleman of the Washo Tribe of Nevada and California, music by SambaDa, Emily Tessmer, Angele Carroll, dance performances by Leigh Collins, Jennie Pitts Knipe and company, Forest Bathing with Felix Brosch, art by Nancy Tieken Lopez, and featured poems by Jean Fournier, and Cold Mountain Poems.

The Trail: Located between Truckee and Sierraville is a hidden gem of Webber Lake. The art hike is a three mile flat trail featuring 6 performance & art installations.

Guide: Keri Sheerin, C-IAYT C-MMTCP
Keri has practiced meditation for 25 years. She is dedicated to improving lives though teaching, soul searching, and guiding empowerment through self inquiry. She believes that a meditation practice is essential, and that meditation is not an “one size fits all” technique. She has practiced many styles including Mindfulness, Primordial Sound, Integrative Restoration, and would love to help you deepen your art in nature experience.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Tahoe Meadows Interpretive Trail, Humboldt-Toyiabe National Forest*

*A short shuttle ride will take you to the trailhead.

The Trail: Explore a new trail near Mt. Rose at the Tahoe Meadows Interpretive Trail. A beautiful trail with golden meadows and peaks above Incline Village, Lake Tahoe featuring 8 performance & art installations along a 1.3 mile easy hiking loop.

Guides: Leeds Davis and Darcey Messner
“Just as the wave is never separate from the ocean, so we are ever connected with the limitless consciousness pervading our existence. In this hike we will explore our intimacy with all that surrounds us…our connection with Earth and sky, with art, music and dance, with our world both animate and inanimate.”
