Sunshine Tahoe, a business designed to enhance partnerships, broaden exposure, inspire creativity, and captivate well-intended efforts ripe for success, is honored to support and present 2 Women of Achievement: Liz McFarland of Project 150 Reno, and Mari Hutchinson of STEP2.

These wonderful women bring their hearts, knowledge, skills, and “sunshine” to families, their organizations, and the entire community.

Mari is a compassionate, inspiring, and motivational leader truly loved by the staff of STEP2. Her heartfelt leadership of STEP2 inspires the Board of Directors, donors, and supporters to do all they can to support STEP2’s mission to break the cycle of addiction and violence in families.

Liz is the lead volunteer at Project150 Reno, a nonprofit that provides clothing and basic needs to hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged high school students throughout the Truckee Meadows with the specific goal of keeping them in school. She also dedicates time, energy, and heart to all the nonprofits she supports.

For this year’s special 40th year celebration, I wish to sincerely congratulate and give recognition to everyone honored today for their contributions, and especially Mari and Liz.
