Trails & Vistas 2025 Art Hike is back at Royal Gorge Ski Resort on July 12th and 13th!
Get ready for an unforgettable journey Beyond the Veil at the 2025 Trails & Vistas Art Hike, where art, nature, and soul-stirring performance converge in the majestic setting of Royal Gorge Ski Resort. This year’s experience promises to ignite the senses and awaken the spirit with a lineup that’s nothing short of extraordinary.
Our theme this year is Beyond the Veil. We are THRILLED that Capacitor Dance Company will be joining us from San Francisco. They will be accompanied by eO, Eric Oberthaler. Meanwhile, Jahan Khalighi will guide participants through the intimate and communal process of “poetry harvesting.” InnerRhythms Dance alumni, Jack Blackmon, accompanied by original music from Lucas Arizu, will transport participants with their “I Jest” performance. Local spoken word poet, Jean Fournier, will attempt to translate the experience of dancing into words.
Beyond the Veil will also include visual art by installation artist, Nancy Tieken Lopez and Nick LaHaise as well as dance performances by InnerRhythms Alumni, Ashley Celaya Dow and Leigh Collins Hunter; as well a dance performance by Jennie Pitts Knipe; and music by Angelika Healing Music. Costume designer, Erin Mahoney, will be working with Nancy Tieken Lopez to create the illusion of walking through a waking dream.
