Making Waves That Make A Difference: Tahoe Fund Boat Parade
Get ready to kick off summer in style while supporting an incredible cause. The Tahoe Fund is hosting their annual boat parade at the end of June, with Ryan and Kristie Sheltra in the lead driving the boat named House Money. Ryan Sheltra is the General Manager of Bonanza Casino. Among others that will be in the parade is Robert L Levy, Director of Investments at Whittier Trust Company of Nevada.

Float, Fun, and Fundraising
Founded in 2010, the Tahoe Fund bridges critical funding gaps for Lake Tahoe’s health by supporting 160+ environmental projects, raising $25 million in private gifts, and leveraging more than $160 million in public funding to restore forest health, lake clarity, recreation, transportation, and stewardship.
By participating in this parade, you’re joining a community that directly fuels solutions—from forest restoration to sustainable recreation—ensuring Tahoe remains crystal clear and vibrant for residents and the 15 million+ annual visitors.
Why You Should Hop Aboard
More than just a parade—it’s a reunion of Tahoe lovers, supporters, and eco‑enthusiasts united in celebrating the lake and making an impact together. Whether you’re planning to paddle, motor, or glide across the waves, your presence counts. Funds raised through the parade go directly toward high-impact restoration and recreation projects, contributing to Tahoe’s long-term environmental health.
We believe in preserving and protecting the unique beauty of the entire Lake Tahoe Basin, while also facilitating responsible developments that allow residents and visitors to get the most out their Tahoe experiences.
